Road to Miss Supranational 2011:
Angela Ruiz, the first runner-up of Miss Venezuela 2010, has been chosen by Miss Venezuela Organization’s President Osmel Sousa to represent the country at Miss Supranational 2011 to be held in Opole, Poland, on August 20th.
Ruiz said that she has been preparing for the contest since she was given the news, with the objective of winning the crown. The 21-year old model, who stands 1.80 m in height, participated in the International Queen of Coffee pageant last January, where she was the 1st runner-up. She also took part in contests like Top Model of the Year, Elite Model Latina and Supermodel of Venezuela. Angela represented Monagas in the last edition of the Miss Venezuela pageant, where she came in 5th place (named 1st runner-up). This will be the 3rd edition of the Miss Supranational pageant.
