Elton John Rips Madonna at the Golden Globes

The feud between Elton John and Madonna re-emerged yesterday as both artists were competing against each other for the Golden Globes in the Best Song category.

Minutes before the ceremony, Elton John was asked by Carlson Daly at the red carpet about his feeling towards the tough competition he was up against to which he replied:

"Madonna doesn't have a f***ing chance of winning tonight."

As we all know now, Madonna finally took the award home much to Elton´s surprise but this only fueled the bitterness between them as, later on, Elton´s husband (David Furnish) took his Facebook to criticize the Queen of Pop:

"Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!! Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism."

Madonna, on the other hand, was asked backstage about the incident (video above) and this is what she had to say about Elton:

"I hope he speaks to me for the next couple of years. He's been known to get mad at me so I don't know. He's brilliant and I adore him so he'll win another award. I don't feel bad!"

What are your thoughts on this? Should Elton John apologize to Madonna?
