First Watch: Bloodstained Heart - Darren Hayes

 The music video for Darren Hayes new single, Bloodstained Heart, is here! 

 Shot in the UK and directed by Chris Cottam, Darren has described the track as the story of a beautiful friendship:

 "The song means so much to me because I wrote it about a time in my life when someone close to me was going through a horrible time and I wished more than anything that I could step in and take the bullet for them. We´ve all experienced that helpless feeling of standing by idly while someone you love is suffering - and wished you could absorb the impact for them. It´s about those situations in life where, maybe you feel you are losing the battle, but you´ll never lose your dignity."

First Watch: Black Out The Sun - Darren Hayes

 Darren Hayes has debuted the music video for, Black Out The Sun, the second single of his upcoming studio album.

 Darren explained the meaning and inspiration behind his new track:

 "Black Out The Sun is a song about not wanting to be in a world without love.  The idea that you could simply switch the sun off and the ground would turn to poison because all the things that made it beautiful were really in the reflection of the eyes of the person you've lost.  I had this idea to show my demons depicted almost like human crows -  jackals stalking my every step, waiting for me to lose hope and give up.  But I never would".

  Darren Hayes has released both his new video and single, Talk Talk Talk today in anticipation for his upcoming new album, Battlecodes And Battleships which will be out sometime next November.

 Along with the new single, Darren has released a cover of Madonna´s song, Angel, to serve as b-Side  for Talk Talk Talk.
