How I Met Your Mother fans can now end any possible plans for a campaign to save their show, as CBS has renewed the sitcom for two more seasons.
The show has performed well in its current sixth season, drawing aproximately 9.1 million viewers per episode. It has grown in popularity over the years, even featuring important guest stars such as Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Sarah Chalke or James Van Der Beek.
As far as the storyline goes, now that the show is locked for two more years, it is safe to say that the identity of the mother won´t be revealed to audiences any time soon.
